During our December 2017 Holiday Party, we created Caring Cards for children, and then distributed to local children’s hospitals via an organization called Kids Helping Kids, a local organization that develops leadership skills through youth-led service projects. I hope there is such an organization in every state in the United States.
To spread the joy to every household in our learning community, each child made an ornament to take home.
We sang Christmas carols, listened to Hanukkah tunes, kept to the Kwanzaa beat… Overall, it was a jolly awesome time.
